Key Stage Three

Key Stage Three

The Key Stage 3 curriculum (Years 7 and 8), based on the National Curriculum, builds on the experiences our students had in their primary schools. Students develop generic and subject specific skills across a range of areas in:

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Humanities
  • Modern Foreign Languages (French or Spanish)
  • Design Technology
  • Art
  • Performing Arts
  • Physical Education

We ensure our Key Stage 3 curriculum allows time for creativity both in individual subjects and across the curriculum, providing a broad and balanced education while preparing students for the range of opportunities available at Key Stage 4 and beyond.

Key Stage 3 sets a good, solid foundation for all that is to come and, as such, it is vital for students, parents and staff to work together to enable our young people to achieve their potential.

For more information call or email the school and ask to speak to Mr Colepio (Director of Key Stage 3).
